Description: Professors Edward Weidner and Ralph Smuckler discuss police training, and the first scenes show MSU professor Richard Rogers visiting a civil guard camp. Field training exercises are shown, and Weidner and Smuckler discuss issues with resettlement due to lack of proper police force training. The professors suggest the ideas of in-service training placement, and the creation of police records. Weapons proficiency training footage is shown. Shots of a Vietnamese municipal police department and a police force band are shown, followed by scenes of Vietnamese citizens receiving police training. Weidner and Smuckler conclude by stating that the police program in Vietnam is only two years old, and they discuss how the program may benefit Vietnam in the future. <b>16mm | color | sound</b>
