A five-member delegation met in Saigon to discuss setting up a plant in free Asian states for peaceful use of atomic energy, the International Cooperation Administration (ICA) allocates additional funds to Vietnam for the purchase of drugs, and Vietnamese President Diem speaks with highlaners' tribes during his inspection tour of the Kontum and Pleiku provinces. In international news, a French cargo ship was the first boat to enter the Kompongsom harbor in Cambodia.
