Description: A scrapbook is made documenting a series of encounters between personnel with the Vietnamese government, the National Institute of Administration, and Michigan State University. Photographs are included of meetings between MSUG personnel and Vietnamese government officials such as John Hannah, Wesley Fishel, Ralph Smuckler, and President Ngo Dinh Diem. Photographs are also included of the Saigon harbor, the arrival of Dr. Hamilton in Saigon, the Higbee and Smuckler daughters in Vietnamese dress, dinner parties at the Imperial Palace, and the arrival and departure of training participants in the U.S. Many photographs are included of training participant's trips to various departments, including Governor Williams' office, the Albany Department of Public Works, the Montreal Imperial Tobacco Company, and the Ford Motor Company.
