Factual Misstatements in the Ramparts Article of April 1966: Memorandum for the Record by Ralph Smuckler

Creator: Smuckler, Ralph H.
Description: Ralph Smuckler, Dean of International Programs, writes a memorandum on 53 factual inaccuracies in the April 1966 Ramparts magazine article that claimed the Michigan State University Group (MSUG), which provided technical assistance in Vietnam from 1955-1962, was a front for a covert CIA operation.  Smuckler provides a disclaimer that the memorandum is not meant to cover distortions, but rather to indicate innacuracy of fact.
