Letter from Gaylord Yost to John A. Hannah, April 26, 1966

Creator: Yost, Gaylord
Contributor: Hannah, John A., letter recipient
Description: Gaylord Yost, a Michigan State University (MSU) alumni from Cadillac, MI, writes to MSU President Hannah in protest.  Yost refers to MSU as an "espionage tool of the Central Intelligence Agency", and expresses his displeasure in the thought that the university showed poor judgment with its involvement in Vietnam, adding that he will not donate to the institution for some time.  Hannah replies in an April 29 letter, enclosing a copy of his official April 22 statement to the press, and expressing his hopes that Yost will reconsider his stance on the university's record.
