Letter from John B. Wentworth to John A. Hannah, April 18, 1966

Creator: Wentworth, John B.
Contributor: Hannah, John A., letter recipient
Description: John Wentworth of Washington, D.C. writes to MSU President Hannah in protest of an editorial in the Washington Post which refers to the university's denial that it is in cooperation with the CIA, and that MSU has had a partnership with the CIA through the time of the Michigan State University Group's technical service work in Vietnam.  Wentworth suggests to Hannah that the college might redeem itself by disclosing financial connections with government agencies publicly.  Hannah, in an April 25 letter of reply, indicates that the university does already report expenses (including funds spent during the time of MSU's project in Vietnam), and includes Hannah's official statement on the allegations of connections with the CIA.
