Letter from John A. Hannah to Fred M. Hechinger, April 28, 1966

Creator: Hannah, John A.
Contributor: Hechinger, Fred M., letter recipient
Description: MSU President Hannah writes to Fred Hechinger, Education Editor of The New York Times, enclosing a copy of his statement in response to Ramparts magazine's allegations that MSU was knowingly employing members of the CIA during the time of its project in Vietnam.  Hannah thanks Hechinger for putting "the M.S.U. Affair" in proper perspective in his April 24 column, but clarifies that the university did not know, and does not know, that CIA agents were on MSU's payroll.
