Letter from Edward W. Weidner to John A. Hannah, November 8, 1956

Creator: Weidner, Edward W.
Contributor: Hannah, John A., letter recipient
Description: A letter from Edward W. Weidner, Coordinator of the Vietnam Project, to MSU president John A. Hannah. Weidner informs Hannah of a cable from Wesley R. Fishel in Saigon, in which the Michigan State University Group (MSUG) and the Vietnamese Government were not consulted on a "reversal" of procedures recommended by the United States Operations Mission (USOM). The intended changes, Weidner felt, would adversely affect continuity and objectives of the MSUG's mission in Vietnam.
