Description: A daily Vietnamese newspaper in English, published by the United States Operations Mission (USOM). U.S. Admiral Arthur Radford arrives in Saigon and is greeted by President Diem, a delegation of U.S. professors (including Drs. Weidner and Mode from Michigan State University) left Saigon to tour the resettlement center in Cai-San, and celebrations took place in Saigon for the first anniversary of the Anti-Communist Drive. In international news, the U.S. strengthens forces in the Pacific areas to discourage Communist activity, and soldiers from the Chinese Army invade a village in Burma.
