Description: Wesley R. Fishel reports to president John Hannah President Diem's decision to terminate the University's contract program in Vietnam. Fishel describes Diem's dissatisfaction with the MSU personnel's critique of his government, and explains Ngo Dinh Nhu, Madame Nhu, and Secretary of State Nguyen Dinh Thuan's influences on the Diem government. Fishel explain's his pessimism in the fate of South Vietnam based on the decline in economic programs,the consequences of the increase in American military, and threats of Viet Cong offensive.
