Description: Jack Ryan of the Michigan State University Vietnam Advisory Group's Police Administration Division corresponds intermittently with the head of the division, Arthur Brandstatter, from April to June, 1958. They discuss the progress of the training program, updates on family and MSU campus life, changes to the administrative structure of the Civil Guard, and the deterioration of security in the south west area. Due to these circumstances, they also discuss the slowing progress of MSU reform in administration and ways in which to push those reform efforts.
